RESPONSIBILITIES

The MHPSS & Protection Program Manager will be responsible to manage the 3 MHPSS projects (funded by ECHO, GAC, UNHCR) actually implemented in Cox Bazar. These are integrated programs with other sectors such as nutrition, WASH or FSL.
The team is constituted of about 50 MHPSS field workers, and the Program Manager will improve the projects quality through capacity building thanks to the experienced and solid technical skills s.he has.
Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To contribute to the intervention strategy and to the positioning of the MHPSS.P department;
  • To ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of MHPSS.P projects;
  • To build the capacities and improve the projects quality while managing the MHPSS.P team;
  • To contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of projects' impact and to projects' capitalization;
  • To contribute to gender and protection mainstreaming (specifically to SGBV and child protection);
  • To participate in external representation and coordination with ACF's partners in the area,
  • To guarantee and ensure the confidentiality of data collection, and support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity

REQUESTED PROFILE

  • You hold a Master's degree in clinical psychology (mandatory);
  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience as a clinical psychologist and 1 year of field experience with humanitarian NGO;
  • You have at least 1 year in a managerial role;
  • You have working experience in emergency contexts;
  • You have working experience on South East Asia Region (desired);
  • You have knowledge and experience on MHPSS (and Protection) in emergency and experience in applying international guidelines for MHPSS;
  • You have experience working within nutrition programs;
  • You possess strong training and supervisory skills, including clinical supervision;
  • You have substantial knowledge regarding program management in the field
  • You have knowledge of standard logistics, financial and HR procedures and practices;
  • You have strong computer and communication skills; excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritizing and communication

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

12 months duration contract.
Remuneration package according to ACF policy, under French or Bangladesh law.
