For the present vacancy, the Online Volunteer will support the WeWorld-GVC Integrated Protection Development Analysis Area - IPDA - in elaborating essential translations or/and proofreading (depending on the interest and need) of technical papers regarding Protection, Community Protection Approach and Vulnerability Indicators.

The candidate, with its specific set of skills, will be able to provide support in the elaboration and revision of relevant documents of the WeWorld-GVC Integrated Protection Development Analysis Area - IPDA - to ensure its goals.
A person appointed by WeWorld-GVC will provide material to be translated to the Online Volunteer, such as tools, guidelines and technical notes regarding the Community Protection Approach. A person appointed by WeWorld-GVC will set, in advance, deadlines for all the translations requested. The Online Volunteer should inform, weekly, the person appointed by WeWorld-GVC on the progress of the work and in case of expected delays.
Translation from English (or Spanish) to Portuguese (Brazilian) of training material, tools, guidelines, manuals and technical notes.
University studies in Linguistic/Translation or relevant experience.
Excellent command of Portuguese (Brazilian) and working knowledge of English.
Working knowledge of Word.
