RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in the preparation of the training material, including the training package for the “training of trainers” (ToT) for the development and / or consolidation of competence: Guide for the facilitator, Guide for the participant, Guide for resources didactic support, Reference Guide and Evaluation Manual.

  • A training package will be carried out for each of the key prioritized institutions: CICESCT, Judicial Branch, National Police and Secretary of Labor
    • Participate, in coordination with the expert in Operational Management, in the preparation of Standardized Operational Procedures, internal and inter-institutional, of the routes to combat human trafficking and care for victims:
  • At least one Inter-institutional POE will be carried out that involves all key institutions.
  • Associated with these SOPs, their respective flowcharts will be designed and consolidated.
    • Support in the organization and facilitation of the different training workshops, in relation to the IBCR development and validation methodology, such as: Development Workshop; Validation Workshop; Pilot Course; Training of Trainers Workshop (ToT);
    • Provide analysis and legal guidance on the different documents related to the project and / or IBCR Honduras, such as collaboration agreements and / or terms of reference.
    • Organize, coordinate and monitor activities related to the justice sector, including meetings with partners, workshops, and monitoring and data collection activities.
    • And any other process that may arise as necessary in the course of the project, such as:
    -Prepare and facilitate technical meetings and presentations
    -Missions outside the city of Tegucigalpa
    -Support in the strengthening of collaboration and action relationships with project partners
    -Filing in a systematic and organized way the memories of the activities and the lists of participants
    -Support with training workshops aimed at Civil Society Organizations
    -Document and incorporate the lessons learned in the activities and products of the project's trafficking theme in order to improve the practices, knowledge, competencies and the modalities of interaction of PNPRRS personnel with children and adolescents.
    -Ensure the internal systematization of the processes and results with the writing of reports
    -Collaboration in the development of new proposals.

  • All these functions will be carried out under the supervision of the project manager and in coordination with the experts based at IBCR's headquarters in Montreal, to ensure consistency with IBCR's methodology and quality standards.

Requirements
• University professional degree in law.
• At least four years of experience in the field of promoting and protecting the rights of children and adolescents, ideally performing similar functions in an NGO or an institution with an international dimension.

  • Specialization in the fight against trafficking in children and adolescents will be an added value.
    • Excellent knowledge of the judicial system in Honduras regarding the fight against trafficking in children and adolescents.
    • Previous experience in skills training processes
    • Solid experience in facilitating training workshops for adults.
    • Demonstrable previous experience in the development of training packages based on competencies and / or similar.
    • Excellent ability to write documents and / or manuals (very relevant).
    • Excellent analysis and synthesis skills.
    • Ability to respect deadlines and work under pressure with prioritization of tasks and organization of work time.
    • Flexibility towards changes and openness to constructive criticism.
    • Good computer skills and use of software and / or applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook, PowerPoint or Prezi)
    • Excellent command of the Spanish language, both oral and written, English or French would be a bonus.
    • Work permit in Honduras.
    LABOR CONDITIONS
    • Full-time fixed-term employment contract (full-time)
    • Competitive fees established according to experience and qualifications
    • The contract begins on April 1, 2021 and ends on March 31, 2022, unless otherwise specified during the contract (extendable for periods of 1 year).
    • The contract will have a trial period of 3 months.
    The candidate must be available to start and possess a status that allows them to immediately sign a contract in Honduras.
