The position will report to and act as a strategic partner to the Chief Digital and Strategy Officer. The position will support the development of the organization’s global strategy, facilitate, and lead multiple cross-functional teams and projects in ChildFund’s continued transformation, as well as lead the annual planning process. The position will support the CDSO in leading/ driving transformation strategy and goals.

· Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Child Safeguarding Policy.

· Work closely with Chief Digital and Strategy Officer supporting in the development of strategy and driving digital transformation initiative across the organization.

· Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams advancing ChildFund's continued transformation (e.g., exploration teams, sprint teams, change management, etc.).

· Oversee and manage the organization’s annual planning process, strategy, and quarterly strategic reviews, including preparation of meeting (i.e., scheduling, agenda preparation), analysis and reporting of results/progress. Drive visible performance management, use KPI’s to track progress, monitor real performance.

· Engage with organizational leaders (i.e., Vice Presidents, Directors) to ensure successful implementation of annual operating plans and strategic priorities to ensure project/department milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets (see COS PM reference).

· Lead additional initiatives of the President’s office, and manage overall project activities, plans, and schedules associated with deliverables and milestones.

· Monitor alignment, coordination, and collaboration among relevant stakeholders and, when such alignment is absent, recommending mitigating approaches to ensure projects are being completed based on approved timeline.

· Responsible for Initiating and/or coordinating projects, operations and/or commitments directly involving multiple divisions and/or offices of ChildFund.

· Proactively identify issues that could impact the successful execution of the organization’s strategy and annual operating plan.

· Support CEO Mgt. team and Global Leadership Team meetings (i.e., develop agenda, follow-up on action plans, take minutes, monitor progress of dashboard)

· Prepare for board and CEO Management Team meetings, including the planning and support of international board meeting.

· Develop and oversee the budget for the Office of President, including all costs centers. Ensure expenses are kept in line with budget and all organizational purchase and travel policies are adhered.

· Perform and manage complex and sensitive organizational planning projects, research, and analysis.

· Support the execution of the organization’s global strategy and initiatives.


§ 10 years of collective experience in the following areas: organizational strategic planning and implementation, change management, organizational development, program planning and/or project management.

§ Through experience and/or education, a general understanding of digital transformation and strategy.

§ Proactively manage multi-priorities.

§ Experience managing change/ organizational development initiative in a global/ multi country structure.

§ Proven ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization to produce positive business results, required.

§ Detail orientated, able to perform data analysis and draw accurate conclusions for Management Team, required.

§ Solid written communication skills.

§ Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills

§ Strong computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Suite applications.

§ Self-starter and results oriented.

§ International travel as needed.


  • Master’s degree in planning, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Six-Sigma or other Management Quality certifications, a plus.
