About CTWWC Project

ICS-SP is implementing a grant project, “Changing the Way We Care SM (CTWWC) in Kisumu County, with funding from Catholic Relief Services (CRS). CTWWC is an initiative designed to promote safe, nurturing family care for children reintegrating from residential care and children at risk of child-family separation. The project aims to strengthen families and national systems of care for children, including family preservation (i.e., prevention of separation), family reunification and reintegration and development or expansion of alternative family-based care options.

We are looking for Expression of Interest (EOI) applications from videographers with relevant experience and technical qualifications to produce a short video showcasing success stories from CTWWC beneficiaries in Kisumu County.

Location:

Kisumu County, Kenya

Purpose of the assignment:

Document success stories from beneficiaries supported by CTWWC.

Duration of the assignment:

5 days (Completion of all deliverables).

DELIVERABLES:

  1. Conduct field visits to capture stories and videos showcasing success stories from identified beneficiaries of CTWWC Project;

  2. Edit and produce a 10- minute video capturing the experiences of CTWWC beneficiaries across Kisumu County;

Qualification, Skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication

At least 3 years work experience in video shooting and editing, with portfolio;

Strong knowledge of video editing software;

Communication and interpersonal skills;

Strong computer skills;

Own a camera and lens/es capable of taking high quality videos;

Experience working with children and young adults is an added advantage;
