Together with the nine other members of the Board, the successful candidate will:

• Be available to participate in board meetings. This meets at at least four times a year and may choose to schedule additional meetings if it sees fit necessary to effectively exercise its responsibilities. Usually it is three meetings by video conference (two hours on average) and one in person for three days September of each year, often held in Montreal and sometimes elsewhere. (If she can't participate in a meeting in person, it is possible to do so remotely by phone or by any other electronic communication tool.)

• The candidate could possibly join the Executive Committee of the Council. administration as Treasurer or Treasurer. For this purpose, the candidate would have as additional mandate to chair the audit committee, which also meets 4 times a year, just before Board of Directors meetings. These meetings usually last two hours and are done by video conference. This is an opportunity to follow up on controls and developments in finance, administration and accounting.

The successful candidate will be submitted to an election in February 2021 to the Board of Directors with a view to becoming a member for a period of two and a half years, from March 1, 2021. To end of this first term, it is possible to nominate for re-election by two maximum times, for a total term of six years. It should be noted that the position is voluntary. Office expects the candidate to know how to demonstrate how their background and network professional can be used within the Board of Directors of the IBCR to guide the strategies and actions of the organization. Please note that both Canadian and international applications will be considered.
