Deputy Director Commercial Service Job Description Under the direct supervision of the Director of Commercial Services (DCS), the Deputy Director Commercial Service provides overall operational leadership to the commercial SRH centres network and commercial sales department. The incumbent is accountable to make sure the SRH center network and Sales under the Income Generation Activities [IGAs] business are sustainably operating through respecting the national laws, regulations, MSIE policies and other pertinent guidelines. DUTIES/TASKS Leadership Contribution Contribute to the company level strategic and business plan development; Ensure that all policies, systems and standard operating procedures are updated and properly implemented; With strategic direction and support from DCS, develop and execute operational plans for SRH center network and sales operation in collaboration with concerned departments; Business and Sales leadership Ensure execution of channel strategic business development guidance Monitors the day-to-day operation of the commercial department and provides timely support to commercial managers centre managers and acts as the lead person for other commercial service outlets to improve the efficiency of the service delivery program. Per strategic direction of DCS, develop standard operating procedure on different business development initiatives and business processes Ensure implementation of cost containment strategies and cost-efficient utilization of resources, decision making and business processes across operations of the department. Responsible for achievement of key financial, service delivery and sales KPIs per channel guidance Responsible for efficient procurement planning, supply chain distribution/management of medical and non-medical supplies, assets and stock count per timeline and take corrective actions Building capacity of sales team on making product sales pitch, outlet mapping, coverage and distribution system to expand sales network. Building capacity of center team on cross selling, service diversification and client centric care Ensure market analysis is done on a regular basis and propose possible business strategies like positioning, product portfolio, diversification, pricing, promotion etc. Ensure daily/weekly/monthly performance reporting, tracking and business analyses framework in place Ensure preparing business case for new center services and expansion and product portfolio Quality Assurance and client centric care Ensure best quality and respectful client care and all providers are abide with duty of care protocols Ensure client feedback collection and action plan in place per protocol Closely follow up with support functions to ensure SRH Centers and Sales teams are receiving timely support on supplies, human resource and facility maintenance and procurement related matters. Makes periodic market analyses, client feedback assessment and produce reports Ensure quality protocols, incident management, Internal QTA, External QTA, competency assessment of service providers and trainings are properly implemented. Marketing, Monitoring and Evaluation Ensures implementation of marketing, promotion and demand creation plan related to SRH service and sales activities to increase service uptake and revenue. Ensure MSIE branding standard are inculcated to the works of SRH services and Sales activities. Ensure MSIE strategies of renovation, promotion, pricing and market positioning are effectively implemented. Prepares monthly/quarterly/annual progress report and submit to the Commercial Services Director; Team Management and Development Ensure team working and knowledge sharing are facilitated. Ensures all team members in the department are developed, motivated and engaged so as to continuously improve work performances. Ensure setting of proper KPIs for all team members and periodic review per set policy Mentoring and capacity building of team members, their professional development and career growth plan. Supervises and mentors the Commercial Services Managers and Sales Manager Job Requirements PERSON SPECIFICATIONQualification and experience requirements Education MA/BA in business managements/healthcare management/ sales and marketing Experience Proven commercial skill sets and 6-8 years of experience leading large scale commercial business, sales operation specially in healthcare service delivery domain Proven experience of managing chain/group of hospitals/health care facilities in private sector (for profit) Significant demonstrable experience in a similar or transferable role Women with relevant business experience are encouraged to apply and will be priority.
