We are looking for a self-motivated and adaptable individual to join us as Solution Delivery Coordinator and provide process, documentation, communication and reporting support to Project Managers and teams across Save the Children.

As Solution Delivery Coordinator you will provide effective project coordination support to a number of projects, as deemed suitable and assigned by the Project Office Manager. In addition you will:

  • Assist the Information System (IS) administration staff with general duties as and when required
  • Aid production of reporting documents in relation to the IS Project Management Office (PMO) portfolio and to report this information in accordance with IS PMO standards to a variety of key business groups
  • Manage the collation of PMO and project communications and shared resource area
  • Provide HR support to the Solution Delivery team including administering recruitment and delivering inductions to new staff and contractors as necessary
  • Support the establishment of processes/initiatives to develop common approaches across the PMO.

To be successful you will have senior administrative experience with expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office and a project management tool such as Microsoft Project. In addition you should have strong planning and organisational skills, with significant experience gained in a project environment. You will also have:

  • A strong customer focus, with an eye for detail and excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience working with staff of diverse backgrounds, skill levels and positions
  • Sound judgement with the ability to establish confidence and respect whilst representing the business, user or supplier stakeholder’s interests
  • Excellent presentation skills and an ability to enthusiastically promote IT ideas clearly to staff at various levels
  • A personable yet assertive personality with the ability to persuade senior colleagues and peers to conform to processes.
