Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is currently recruiting for the position of an Asset Management Coordinator, who will be maintaining an effective lifecycle model for all Islamic Relief Worldwide assets, to produce optimal asset operation, replacement and refurbishment plans and associated capital investment plans, to enable assets to be maintained, renewed and developed to match current and future business requirements safely and economically, ensuring these are integrated effectively into business planning processes.

The role will manage effectively and efficiently in conjunction with senior management, the fixed asset register and ensure that asset management data is relevant, current and complete such that it will support analysis and decision making of how to best manage the IRW’s asset portfolio. S/he will draft, negotiate and settle Heads of Terms and formulating lease agreements and rent reviews. The post holder will develop and maintain a good working relationship with key external stakeholders including local authorities, developers, contractors and consultants. S/he will ensure that all relevant licences, insurances and permits are updated and maintained.

It is essential that the candidate has experience of reviewing and negotiating Heads of Terms, leases and licences. S/he must have experience of instructing solicitors and external consultants and dealing with estate agents, landlords and tenants. In addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the post holder should have the ability to work under pressure and to agreed deadlines. It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have a professional or academic qualification in a Business and/or Real Estate.
