Enterprise Content Management (ECM) project’s goal is to take a systemic approach that introduces and institutionalizes Electronic Content Management (including systems, policies, procedures, standards, guidance, and governance), providing improved search functionality, document and records management, archives management, content management, content reuse and re-purposing, and collaboration across UNICEF. As additional benefit it seeks to reduce risks, improve usability of tools, provide significant savings, enable new organizational capabilities and comply with several audit recommendations. These goals will be implemented in keeping with the organizational strategy and information management requirements of stakeholders in various business areas.

Purpose of the job:

Under the general guidance of the Senior Project Manager, in accordance with the business assessment framework established in ECM, the Business Analyst’s primary objective is helping ECM and UNICEF to implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of the project, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.

Reporting Structure:

The incumbent will report to the ECM Senior Project Manager.

Duration of Contract:

This consultancy will be for a period of 11.5 months.

Key responsibilities

  • Planning and monitoring with a direct focus on the O365 Environment and Modern SharePoint
  • Aligning business needs and organizational requirements within the context of the fully aligned Digital Workplace and Document Management System
  • Provide project management support, prioritize requirements and direction of the project’s scope
  • Provide business analysis around integration points within the ECM environment
  • Support the ECM project team more broadly on other tasks that may arise over the course of the assignment
  • Serve as the main focal point between stakeholders and the ECM team.

Deliverables:

  • Prioritize initiatives around the O365 Environment and Modern SharePoint sites based on business needs and requirements
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies for the ECM environment
  • Weekly reports of critical information gathered from meetings with various stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Masters’ Degree in Systems or Business Process Analysis or a directly related technical field
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience related to Information Technology
  • Experience working in the UN or other international development organizations
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Experience in Agile Project Delivery
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the O365 environment.

Language:

  • English and French are the working languages of UNICEF. For the role advertised, fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of another UN language is an asset.

Travel

Travel is not requiredfor this consultancy.

Evaluation method

Each applicantwill be evaluated based on the cumulative analysis methodology (weighted scoring method), where the award of the contract will be made to the individual consultantor vendorwhose offer has been evaluated and determined as:

  • Responsive/compliant/acceptable; and
  • Having received the highest score out of a pre-determined set of technical skills and financial proposal specific to the solicitation.

Technical Criteria weight: [70%]
