Here’s where you come in:

As Food Assistance Manager, you will manage all West Nile Refugee Response (WNRR) food commodities and ensure that the World Food Programme (WFP) food aid initiative and programme is implemented in line with the World Vision International Food Programming Management Group and Donor guidelines. You will deliver accountable and top quality food programming, within the framework of integrated food resources into World Vision’s holistic ministry.

Requirements include:

  • BA Degree /Masters in Business Administration, Social Science or in other related field.
  • Extensive exposure to food aid programs management (minimum 5 years) preferably with international experience.
  • Managing large budget and size of food program and knowledge working with donors like WFP.
  • Knowledge of the Sphere standards, Code of Conduct for Red Cross/ Red crescent, Humanitarian Accountability Partnerships (HAPI) and other international humanitarian standards.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Must be willing to travel and a flexible approach to living conditions.
