CARE is seeking an Emergency Program Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating CARE's emergency programming across the whole of Syria response. The position will be based in Amman and report to the Head of Program. The Emergency Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and harmonizing CARE's program strategies for rapid response to spikes in the crisis across multiple field sites; offering technical support and backstopping for Program Managers; building capacity of teams in RRM (rapid response mechanism) methodologies, coordinating CARE's program planning, design, budgets and reporting; and liaising with donors particularly ECHO. Responsibilities: Program Management Technical Support Staff and Partner Capacity Building Deployment to Program hubs Contingency Planning Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Social Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, Developmental Studies) 10+ years experience in emergency program management and coordination in a development/humanitarian setting Strong technical leadership of multi-cultural teams Experience working with and supporting implementing partners  Excellent coordination and communication skills          Proven experience in capacity building and training of staff and partner agencies
