Save the Children programmes focus on Education, Health and Nutrition, Child Rights Governance, Child Protection, Child Poverty and Humanitarian responses. We work with government partners and local NGOs to improve children’s lives, especially marginalised and disadvantaged children.


Save the Children is seeking a consultant, or consultancy firm, to develop a Communications Strategy, a Social Media Strategy, a Traditional Media Strategy and Key Messages to be utilised by Save the Children and FCF members.

Consultant(s) Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other relevant field.

  • At least 5 years’ proven experience in developing and implementing communications strategies, preferably in the Cambodian and international context.

  • Prior experience managing USAID communications branding and marking requirements.

  • Familiarity with Child Protection work.

  • A good understanding of social media and traditional media in Cambodia.

  • Prior experience providing communication training / capacity building support.

  • Proven capability to work in collaborative and consultative manner with multiple partners.

  • Demonstrated success in increasing the profile and prominence of clients in previous work.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal/cross cultural communication and time-management skills while working in a diverse and dynamic team setting in a challenging environment.

  • Excellent spoken and written English-language skills is essential; fluency in Khmer language is an asset.
