CARE is seeking a Business Analyst who will report to the Director of Operations in the Fundraising and Marketing (F&M), Business Operations division. The Business Analyst works closely with members of the business groups within Fundraising and Marketing to determine the client’s business needs. The position entails a combination of business and data analysis and query/report development. This individual will work closely with peers to support data extracts for online and offline segmentation strategies. She/he will interact with internal and external clients which require effective written and oral communication skills. This position will advance departmental business efficiency in support of aggressive fundraising goals. The Business Analyst is responsible for data integrity and will be responsible for using innovation to foster data-driven operations.


  • Planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling activities related to the production of data selects for fundraising, communication, and advocacy
  • Develop reports and perform analysis for fundraising, communication, and advocacy
  • Act as a liaison between Operations, Finance and F&M business areas; Prepare Information Services requests, track progress and disseminate information to appropriate parties and ensure accuracy of the data and timely response
  • Provide thought leadership on constituent data structures using collaboration skills. Develop and maintain enterprise constituent data architecture, within the context of CARE wide enterprise architecture


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Relational database training (ORACLE or SQL)
  • 1-3 years Crystal Reports experience
  • 1-3 years database experience
  • Oracle or SQL database experience
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Access, Excel
  • SalesForce experience
  • Excellent Analytical and quantitative skills
