Oxfam’s property portfolio comprises 650 shops plus warehouses, offices and residential properties situated across the country. It keeps our Estates team of six surveyors extremely busy. Help them deliver an estates management service that’s high quality, cost-effective and adds value and you’ll make a big difference to our business.

About the role

You’ll be providing support to six Estates Surveyors, helping them to manage our large portfolio of properties. The work is varied and interesting with opportunities for on the job learning.

We’ll rely on your support when it comes to resolving estates management issues and addressing repairs. We’ll look to you to help manage our residential sublet portfolio and to put together the information we need to acquire properties, renew leases and review rents.

You’ll play an important part in ensuring the Estates team is able to implement the Trading Strategy, support our shops network and add value.

About you

We’ll expect you to have a keen interest in property with a can-do attitude to getting the job done. You’ll be enthusiastic, adaptable and analytical, good at solving problems, managing your time and juggling priorities. You’ll thrive on teamwork.

Knowledge of commercial and residential property would be useful however if we feel you’ve got what it takes we’ll invest in your training and development. You should be numerate and able to express yourself clearly both verbally and in writing in the form of letters, emails, reports and minutes of meetings. The ability to work within Oxfam’s values is essential.
