Based in Port Moresby, you will be a part of our Executive Management Team. You will provide leadership, strategic guidance and financial and operational management to MSPNG, ensuring appropriate systems, procedures and controls are in place to support the continued growth of the country program.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the finance team and ensuring that MSPNG's finances are managed in an efficient, effective and transparent manner
  • Ensuring donor financial reports are prepared on time and in line with donor reporting requirements
  • Coordinating financial audits, preparation of statutory accounts and subsequent annual reports for EMT and MSI
  • Ensuring that bottlenecks are cleared to facilitate smooth operation of clinical teams
  • Lead preparation and monitoring of the annual business plan

You will have:

  • A Bachelors in Accounting or Business Management and a full member of CPA/CA
  • Experience working in financial management (accounting, reporting, budgeting etc)
  • In addition to financial management, sound experience in at least two other functional area will be a definite advantage
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience with at least 5 direct reports. Experience managing remote operations will be advantageous
  • Strong organizational, coordination & communication skills liaising with different level of organizations
  • Demonstrated experience change management through developing and implementing new administrative systems and processes
  • International NGO experience is desirable. However, strong corporate experience is also considered favorably.
  • Extensive experience in accounting software. Experience in business intelligence, HR, stock management, procurement platforms is a definite advantage.
