i+solutions is looking for an energetic, pioneering and skilled manager to lead our team in improving and strengthening the In-country Health Supply Chain and Information Management in lower and middle income countries (LIMC).

This role is one of the key positions responsible for the growth for our organization and your first priority will be to define robust programs to meet the needs of our clients. Once programs are defined and aligned to the needs of our clients, you will together with your team manage the execution of the programs ensuring high-quality implementation and evidencing & demonstrating our impact to the SDGs and country health indicators.

Supported by your professional team members and business development officers, you will also investigate (new) Business Development opportunities and will coordinate bids in alignment with our corporate strategies to ensure (additional) funding for i+solutions.

You will need to connect the dots within and outside our organization to ensure high-quality execution of projects and to build & maintain a network that is representative of i+solutions in the international arena.

You will lead, coach and develop the In-country Health Supply Chain and Information Management team in the Netherlands (7 direct reports) and guide our external consultants in the countries. You will need to be a leader and role model to promote a culture of proactive engagement in realizing the goals of your team as well as our organisation.

Together with your team and other global partners you will build stronger health systems by improving supply chain performance and reliable data management of our global clients through training, consultancy and other customized interventions. You are expected to manage and participate in (some of) our projects.

You will report directly to the Director Innovation & Programs.

What we are looking for:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent academic qualification in Public Health, International Health or Health Systems

  • At least 7-10 years of experience relevant to improving the health supply chain and information management in LMIC, ideally also on a managerial level;

  • An inspiring, results oriented leader who is able to work & foster cross-border collaboration and to build & motivate diverse multicultural teams;

  • An organized and effective project and people manager;

  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement strategies that employ evidence-based approaches to meet project targets under challenging timelines.

  • Experience working and collaborating with diverse sets of stakeholders, such as local & International NGOs, government officials, donor representatives, and international staff;

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, an additional language is an asset;

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills:

  • Ability and willingness to travel if/when required.
