Here’s where you come in:

As People & Culture (HR) Manager - Central African Republic, you will support the strategic direction of World Vision International Response Central African Republic (CAR) through development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of strategic HR policies, procedure, systems & programs and to ensure that HR standards & organizational culture are coherent to WV partnership.

Requirements include:

  • At least 5-10 years human resource management experience of which 3 should have been at providing leadership to a country team.
  • University degree in Human Resources or Business and Administration or relevant field.
  • Familiar with emergency settings and dynamics and ability to work in a hostile environment.
  • Good understanding of World Vision, People in Aid, and Sphere relief standards. Knowledge of and adherence to the Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct.
  • Excellent English and French language skills. Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible world view, emotional maturity and physical stamina.
  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
