We are looking for Mobilisation Assistant to join our Mobilisation Team. This team is part of the Influencing and Operations Department, within the Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns Division, and is responsible for providing a positive supporter experience to our campaigners. We create exciting and meaningful opportunities for volunteers and supporters to get involved with Save the Children campaigns, in order to ensure the greatest possible impact. As a Mobilisation Assistant, you will provide expert support and advice on supporter engagement.

As Mobilisation Assistant you will be responsible for proving ongoing support to the team. A key aspect of the role is to build lasting partnerships, both internally and externally, problem solve and to put supporters at the heart of our work. Other responsibilities will include:

· Ongoing administrative support for the mobilisation team.

  • Being the first point of contact for campaign supporters.
  • Organising campaigner events including conferences and training sessions.
  • Writing, researching and developing resources.
  • Identifying key data trends and working to improve data quality.

To be successful you will be willing to develop, have a great passion for campaigning and recognise the importance of supporters in winning campaigns. You will also work well with others, have a proactive and positive mentality and is a problem solver at heart. This is a development role so no prior professional experience of campaigning, or working for an international NGO, is required. In this role you will be working closely with colleagues across Save the Children to deliver campaigns that win positive change for children.
